About Lamppost Coffee

Lamppost Coffee traces back to founder Brian Burns, who at 13 stopped into a Round Rock coffee shop called Saradora's and told the owner he'd have a coffee shop of his own someday. After running a coffee kiosk in downtown Austin called Brian's Brew, he opened Lamppost's first cafe in Round Rock on July 14, 2015, naming it after the lamppost from The Chronicles of Narnia. The Georgetown cafe, located just off the historic square, is one of five Lamppost locations across Central Texas today, alongside a roastery and a mobile coffee business.

Georgetown's shop serves house-roasted specialty coffee alongside tea, sandwiches, salads, and freshly baked pastries. The coffee lineup rotates through single-origin roasts and experimental coferments, and the shop sells its own house-made Lamba syrup by the bottle.

Beyond the counter, Lamppost runs mobile coffee catering for weddings, offices, and private events across Texas and Colorado, breakfast and lunch food catering for gatherings of 10 or more, and fully managed office coffee programs with on-site baristas.
