About Market Days on the Square
Market Days on the Square is Georgetown's flagship monthly marketplace, held on the second Saturday of each month at the historic downtown square. The event transforms 7th, 8th, and Main Streets with hundreds of vendors offering artisan crafts, food trucks, cottages foods, retail goods, and local services, drawing 125,000 visitors annually in 2025. Live music from local musicians plays throughout the day, creating a vibrant community gathering that celebrates Georgetown as the "Most Beautiful Square in Texas." The Downtown Georgetown Association, a nonprofit partnership of downtown merchants and community leaders, curates the event to complement the year-round shopping and dining options that define historic Georgetown. Vendor categories include artisan makers, cottage food producers, food trucks, retail vendors, and business services. Booth vendors and mobile food trucks apply through the association's vendor portal with tiered application periods (June-August and September-November) and customizable monthly participation. The event is free to attend with ample free and accessible parking throughout the downtown core.
