About All Things Kids

All Things Kids is the hand-curated toy, book, and candy destination on Georgetown Square. Owners Karen and Christian (from Britain and Germany) and their son Carl opened the store in April 2011, building it around the philosophy of selecting only the finest toys from around the world-the kind children will pass on to their own children. Every item is hand-picked for creativity, durability, and imagination. Under one roof: a bookshop featuring award-winning classics and local authors, a candy shop with retro and specialty sweets, and Scoops, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor serving 42+ rotating flavors including French Toast, Amaretto Cheesecake, and Jack Coke. Fresh vanilla waffle cones are made on site daily. The store also offers party planning (themed celebrations with decorations, games, and crafts), a gift registry service (customers select items, photos and prices are emailed to gift-givers), and catering through Scoops ice cream (dipping cabinets, trailers, and waffle cone service for events like weddings and corporate parties).
