Jaiwai Thai Kitchen

Jaiwai Thai Kitchen has served authentic Thai food from the same spot on Georgetown's square since 2015, family owned and operated. The name comes from the owner's family last name, jai meaning heart, wai meaning movement in Thai, and the kitchen leans on recipes carried from northern Thailand. The signature dish is Chicken Khao Soi, a northern Thai bowl built on a rich, creamy coconut curry broth with tender chicken, egg noodles, pickled mustard greens, shallots, lime, and crispy noodles on top. Regulars also come back for Pad See Ew, panang curry, basil fried rice, yellow curry, pad kee mao, and prik king, and the kitchen caters private events on request. The restaurant sits on E 7th St near the Williamson County Courthouse, an easy stop before or after walking the Georgetown square. The menu includes a kids menu along with vegetarian and gluten-free options.
