About Kork Wine Bar
Located just off the square in downtown Georgetown, Kork Wine Bar centers on wine-over 50 selections by the glass and 250+ bottles from around the world, available for tastings at 2.5 oz or by the glass at 5 oz. No membership required. The kitchen focuses on food that pairs well with wine: Neapolitan-style pizzas from a wood-fired Stefano Ferrara oven (heated to 900 degrees), plus charcuterie boards, salads, and small plates using fresh ingredients. The space functions as both neighborhood wine bar and event venue, welcoming families and dogs, with a quarterly wine club and custom wine flights available on request. The seasonal wine selection rotates every few weeks, curated to offer variety without exclusive winery affiliations. Wine club members receive picks (mostly reds) every quarter with pickup in February, May, August, and November, plus exclusive offerings and special events. Tuesday evenings feature a wine-and-pizza special. The bar serves beer, cider, Nespresso coffee, and non-alcoholic options for those not drinking wine. To-go options available, including wine and beer purchases that can be taken downtown in to-go cups per Georgetown ordinance. The team handles large private events for 6 or more with full-space rentals available upon request.

Questions people ask
Does Kork Wine Bar take reservations?
Reservations are not typically taken to serve all customers equally. Large parties (6 or more) or those interested in renting the full space should email korkwinetx@gmail.com with date, time, and party size for availability. A 20% gratuity is applied to parties of 6 or more.
What's the difference between Kork Wine Bar's wine club levels?
Two club types: Key Club (3 or 12 bottles quarterly) starts at $140/quarter for 3 bottles; Cellar Club starts at $280/quarter for 3 bottles. A Name Your Price option is also available. Sommelier selects all bottles, and members receive exclusive wines and special events not available to non-members.
Can I bring my own cake or outside food?
Outside treats can be brought in with a $10 plating fee; desserts must be served on Kork's dishes. No outside food or drink other than this is permitted. In-house desserts change seasonally.
What's available for non-wine drinkers?
Four rotating beers on tap plus canned and bottled options including cider, Nespresso coffee, soda, and non-alcoholic mixers. The bar does not serve spirits, only wine and beer.
Is Neapolitan pizza gluten-free?
Neapolitan pizza is not offered gluten-free due to kitchen size and the specialized flour required (00 flour). However, most salads and small plates can be prepared gluten-free.
