About Prost Alehouse
Prost Alehouse Texas is an in-house brewery specializing in traditional German-style craft beers, designed with old-world charm and modern innovation. Owner Troy built the brewery to bring camaraderie through quality craft beer, inspired by iconic Austin breweries Waterloo Brewhouse and Celis Brewery. Head Brewer Jack Ostrand, a born and bred Austinite who trained at Oskar Blues and Live Oak, crafts thoughtful beers using traditional Continental styles alongside innovative new techniques.
The taproom features 24 rotating taps with in-house beers, fine wines, cider, mead, and non-alcoholic beverages. The brewery has earned recognition as Best Brewery in Pflugerville (2025 and 2024), Best New Brewery in Austin (2024), and ranked 10th on Austin Chronicle's Top 25 Best Breweries 2024.
