About Bluebonnet Beer Company
Bluebonnet Beer Company was established in 2013 by husband-and-wife team David and Clare Hulama, after nearly a decade of dreaming. The brewery is built on David's award-winning homebrewing expertise and Clare's 20+ years in retail and tech sales. David holds a Biology degree from the University of Texas at Austin and earned the prestigious Diploma in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling in London, after completing the Master Brewers Program at UC Davis-making him one of the few formally trained brewers in Texas. The taproom in Round Rock features rotating food trucks, a mug club with exclusive member benefits, and regular special events including an annual Oktoberfest celebration that draws visitors from across the greater Austin area. The brewery is committed to creating excellent beer, fostering community gatherings, and promoting family fun. Each beer is brewed, packaged, and distributed by the couple, with family and friends often pitching in on weekends. Bluebonnet's award-winning core lineup includes Cream Ale, Texas Pecan Brown Ale, and American Amber Ale (multiple award winner). Seasonal and specialty beers rotate regularly, and their beers are distributed to establishments throughout Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Cedar Park, and surrounding areas.
