The Owen House sits at the heart of old Round Rock, a cluster of three historic and new buildings that together create an intimate, character-filled event venue. The complex centers on the Owen House itself, a two-story home built around 1870 that served as the residence of Dr. William Mitch Owen, a prominent local physician. The adjacent Oatts Building, constructed between 1851 and 1853, housed Round Rock's first permanent post office and mercantile-making it one of the oldest structures in town. In 2021, the Giesen Linssen family added a third stone reception hall designed for modern events, completing a venue that balances authentic Victorian character with contemporary comfort. The setting is ideal for weddings (up to 100 guests), micro-weddings (up to 40 guests), quinceañeras, celebrations of life, rehearsal dinners, and milestone events. The venue provides decorative outdoor lighting, on-site catering prep kitchen, tables, chairs, built-in audio system, and an on-site event manager. Guests enjoy the charming garden and full-service amenities, with rates ranging from $2,700 to $4,900 depending on guest count, day, and season. During December, the Owen House becomes home to Santa's Jingle House, a beloved holiday experience established in 2015 that welcomes thousands of visitors.
