Dan Becnel is a registered Texas landscape architect (Reg. #1789) with over 40 years of experience in residential landscape design and installation. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (1982), Dan worked with the award-winning SWA Group in Houston before establishing his Austin-area practice.
He provides full-spectrum services, including on-site consultation, hand-drawn conceptual and detailed designs to scale, hardscape installation, planting, sprinkler systems, water features, and landscape lighting. Dan brings particular expertise in pool design and coordinates closely with pool builders to integrate landscapes with new pools. Every design includes multiple review meetings with the client and a complete plant list before installation begins.
