Questions people ask
What's the difference between embroidery and DTF printing?
Embroidery uses stitched designs for durability and detail, ideal for polo shirts and structured garments. DTF (Direct-to-Film) applies liquid pigment inks with adhesive powder, pressed at high heat (300-350 degrees) and resists cracking over time. DTF works well on cotton and other fabrics where embroidery may not be ideal.
Can you sublimate on cotton t-shirts?
No. Sublimation requires polyester fabrics because the dye infuses directly into synthetic material. Chell's recommends at least a 65% polyester blend. For cotton items, embroidery, DTF, or screen printing are better options.
What makes Chell's different from other embroidery shops?
Chell's emphasizes precision and durability through careful stitch count, proper fabric backing, and meticulous image positioning. They treat every order with equal care regardless of size, deliver on time, and maintain competitive pricing without compromising quality.
